Dzereyat
Dough
3 cups flour
¼ cup melted butter
flowers water + water
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Mix flour + butter dissolved + vanilla, wet with water + flowers water, to get a solid dough rather
Fillers:
500 g almonds, crushed very well
300 g castor sugar
1 spoon of lemon peel
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3 or 4 eggs
Honey + flowers water
The preparation of fillings:
Mix almonds, sugar, lemon peel, vanilla and with eggs wet gradually, until you get the filling cohesive. Make balls size of a walnut. Place the balls on a surface covered with fine sugar, to not stick. And covered the balls.
On the table work, Strew little flour, and then open the dough, to become thin
Make circles by a template or cup 8 cm in diameter
Place the ball of fillers at the center.
Make the folds with fingers on the edge of the dough - see photo - .
and then decorate with grain of almond, or silver candy.
Cook in the oven at an average temperature.
After the candy out of the oven Submerge in honey + flowers water (honey must be watered-down).
